About This Site

A released Montgomery County inmate may no longer appear in a current jail view. The useful trail can instead run through an MCCF discharge record, a Pennsylvania court docket, PADOC's locator, PA SAVIN, or a supervision office. This privately operated reference site organizes those paths in one place. It helps readers distinguish release to the community from transfer, parole, probation, and other custody changes while pointing back to the public offices that create the records.

Why This Resource Exists

Pennsylvania provides public access to many court, jail, corrections, and supervision records, subject to legal limits. Access is spread across agencies. Montgomery County Correctional Facility maintains its own admission and discharge information. The Unified Judicial System carries the court docket and filed judicial events. The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections runs separate searches for people under current state jurisdiction and current state supervision. County Adult Probation and Parole and the state parole system handle different groups after release. Federal prison releases appear through the Bureau of Prisons rather than a county source.

Montgomery County Released Inmates brings the verified routes, record-request steps, office contacts, and key distinctions together. It does not turn those sources into one new government database. Instead, it shows which agency is likely to hold a release, transfer, court, or supervision fact and why two official records may answer different parts of the same question.

Records and Paths Included

The coverage is arranged around the real custodians serving Montgomery County and the tasks a reader is trying to complete:

  • The home page provides the full named-person search and release-record route, with separate help for Release Date Lookup, the VINE Inmate Check, and Post-Release Supervision.
  • Individual facility pages identify Montgomery County Correctional Facility, SCI Phoenix, and the Montgomery County Youth Center, with the appropriate address, phone, custody type, and release path.
  • Search steps explain why an MCCF county-jail inquiry starts with the facility and court record, while a state-prison inquiry uses PADOC's statewide locator.
  • Records guidance explains how to seek an admission, discharge, booking, or booking-photo record and how Pennsylvania response periods may apply.

Limits of This Site

This is a privately run reference site. It is not part of Montgomery County, the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, MCCF, PADOC, the Pennsylvania Parole Board, or any other local, state, or federal agency. The site does not control a jail, court file, locator, or supervision record.

  • We cannot release, detain, move, or transfer any person.
  • We cannot post bail, arrange a visit, or send funds for a reader.
  • We do not give legal advice or decide what a court order means for an individual case.
  • We cannot promise that every office hour, fee, phone number, or address will remain unchanged.

Only the office that created the record can officially confirm custody, charges, discharge, or transfer; links here are routing help, not agency confirmation.

Search Partners

Some pages contain search boxes supplied by outside providers. Those companies set their own prices, access terms, and result methods. If a search tool leads to a paid registration, Montgomery County Released Inmates may receive a referral fee, which helps keep access to the site's general material free. The site does not set, approve, or control a partner's pricing, coverage, or search results.
